Spacekoncept Limited Warranty Policy
Spacekoncept emphasizes quality and sets high standards for ourselves and partners and stands behind its products and provides a full replacement warranty on hardware found to be defective because of issues relating to workmanship during manufacturing.
We offer a 5-year warranty on all our products purchased after 1 January 2023 – but of course, we expect them to last even longer.
We warrants that our products are free from defective materials and have satisfactory workmanship. This period varies from product to product, and commences from the date of delivery. These periods are defined in the table below.
During the warranty period, if a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the defective part(s) at our discretion. This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal use, wear and tear or a natural characteristic of the material used.
LIMITATIONS & EXCEPTIONS
- Proper care and usage are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. This warranty does not apply if your Spacekoncept furniture is damaged by using detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
- This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.
- This warranty does not apply to a product that is used outdoors, unless specifically stated otherwise.
- Any product modification done by consumer or other parties will void this Warranty.
- This Warranty does not cover items marked as ‘Promotion’ or any form of Display items at the time of purchase.
- This Warranty does not cover items not purchased directly from Spacekoncept.
- We reserves the final decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be made at our sole discretion.
- Any item repaired or replaced under this limited Warranty will be covered by a limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period only.
- In respect of manufacturing defects detected within the warranty period, this warranty covers the cost of material components, replacement parts, labour and transportation charges.
- In respect of manufacturing defects detected after the warranty period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any) are to be covered by the Purchaser.
- For Murphy Wall Beds, immediately from when Spacekoncept stops selling a particular model of bed, the warranty will cease to apply to that particular bed model.

Please read this Safety Policy that forms part of the warranty policy for Murphy Wall Beds
The Purchaser agrees to hire a qualified and insured assembly and installation specialist. Failure to follow all of the assembly and Installation instructions may result in injury. FJ & Joseph Pte Ltd, owner of Spacekoncept, will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or injuries resulting from the failure to follow properly and carefully all instructions.
Mounting of furniture must be to the wall made of brick, concrete or similarly strong material.
Paper-mache and sheetrock like walls are not suitable. Do not mount furniture to paper-mache or sheetrock like material as improper mounting may cause injury to person(s) and damage to property.
Do not lean or rest heavy objects on the side or top of furniture. This may cause balance issues and compromise the integrity of your mounting connections.
Please use the furniture’s beds, desks, and shelving as intended. These are not designed to be sat, stood, leaned, jumped (etc) on. Improper use may cause personal injury and damage to property.
Before any unmounting or disassembly please contact Spacekoncept for technical support and instruction. Failure to properly detach risks injury to person and damage to property.
It is important to remove excess pillows, blankets and fold headboard before closing unit. Failure to remove obstructions and then forcing operation of the unit may cause damage to property and/or person. If the bed is stuck, do not force it!
